Molded and injected elastomer parts
When conductive elastomer parts cannot be produced or obtained from sheets or extruded profiles, the solution is to produce a custom molded or injected part.
The injection of elastomer parts is made from hot melted filled elastomer injected into the cavity of the mold, then cooled to harden and remain at the mold cavity footprint design.
On the other hand, the molded gaskets are made from the compression of uncured conductive elastomer base into the cavity of a mold and then heated to vulcanize and remain at the mold cavity footprint design.
*(vulcanization is the cure of the elastomer paste after heat treatment, resulting on the elastic aspect of cured elastomer)
