FIP – Form in place

Form in place is the technology consisting of dispensing a conductive silicone uncured paste on a track. It can be dispensed on flat surfaces, groove, edges and every complex footprint where no other shielding solution can fit.
The conductive silicone bead, resulting from the pneumatic pressure applied to a cartridge, is homogeny along the entire track due to computer controlling: the operation is totally robotized to guarantee homogeneity and repeatability of the process.
The dispense silicon will vulcanize at room temperature by the action of humidity and is totally cured after 24 hours, not needing a baking process.
