Thermal management interfaces are used to transfer or disperse heat towards heat sinks. In order to obtain heat sinks best performance and keep the working temperature of components as low as possible, air gaps need to be filled with TIM (Thermal Interface Material), which are thermally conductive and adaptable materials.
Thanks to the fact that these materials can be compressed and can adjust to a wide flatness tolerance, Euro Technologies’ manufactured materials minimise mechanical stress on components and eliminate air gaps, thereby reducing thermal resistance.
Euro Technologies’ GAP FILLERS, for instance, are used to fill air gaps between heat releasing electronic components and heat sinks or metal chassis. Being flexible and elastic, these components can cover highly uneven surfaces.
GAP FILLERS are used where high thermal conductivity and low compression are required. Moreover, they are the softest and most thermally conductive gap fillers available (thickness ranging from 0.5mm to 5.0 mm and above) and their high compliance offers designers the best flexibility in dimensional tolerance.
Their extreme compliancy reduces stress on the components while higher thermal conductivity provides the thermal performance required.
