Laird’s structural absorbers include epoxy, silicone-based, and thermoplastic molded, cast, and machined materials customized to fit unique designs. Magnetically loaded but electrically non-conductive, they can contact circuitry directly and reduce interference effectively. Suitable for space applications due to low out-gassing, these absorbers withstand temperature cycling and offer excellent abrasion resistance.
Available in customizable shapes with weatherproof and reflow-compliant grades, they support both low and high volume manufacturing while suppressing surface currents.
