Shielded Windows by Euro Technologies consist of one or more window layers with an intermediate metal micro-mesh. These Shielded Windows are covered with acrylic.
Thanks to a special modelling technique, the metal mesh is smoothly inserted into the structure for the least possible optical disturbance.
By placing Shielded Windows in front of a display, interference phenomena may occur followed by variable light intensity on the screen; a slight inclination of the metal mesh can sensibly reduce this disturbance.
The basic product structure can be customized with specific sizes and a slot around the edge.
This silver-plated slot will enable contact with the inner metal mesh. The shielded window then can be mounted on the chassis using conductive gaskets or conductive adhesive tape.
Acrylic Shielded Windows can be 1150x850mm as maximum dimensions and from 2 to 4mm thick; they guarantee the most reliable performance between -40°C to 70°C.
Finally, they can also be used as contrast filters; more than 55 transparent colours make it possible to choose the solution best suited to any needs.
