Laird’s new family of absorbers offers game-changing performance at lower frequencies. This group of elastomeric materials utilizes a proprietary filler system that produces an absorber with higher permeability and permittivity over standard magnetic fillers. The filler system is inherently corrosion resistant and can pass the ASTM B117 salt fog requirements. This family of absorbers provides the highest level.
Eccosorb™ RF-LW is a lightweight, corrosion-resistant microwave absorber that offers the highest level of attenuation available for cavity resonance problems and surface current attenuation. It is designed to address antenna-to-antenna interference, internal cavity resonance and interfering reflections. Eccosorb™ RF-LW’s thin design and ability to withstand extreme conditions – including fuel, humidity, salt & fog conditions – make it a fit for aerospace & defense, automotive and consumer applications. Available in single-band and multi-band designs, the absorber can be tuned to operate with frequencies aligned to a range of applications.
